El Hermoso Cantar Del CoquíCoqui....

San Juan, Puerto Rico--(Hispanic PR Wire)--April 24, 2003--JAMPR.COM is delighted to announce the launch of the beautiful Puerto Rico natural sounds Audio CD “El Hermoso Cantar Del Coquí” produced by well-known Puerto Rican music producer Freddie Mendez.  Mendez has worked with such internationally renowned artists as Joseph Fonseca, Sergio Vargas, Hermanos Rosario, Elvis Crespo and Milly Quezada, among others. One of his most recent hits was as arranger of the song “Un Beso”, which led Grupomanía to win the 45th Grammy Award (2003) for best production.

“El Hermoso Cantar Del Coquí” is a totally different concept.  The CD is perfect background music to meditate, reflect, rest and remember.  It’s the perfect gift for any occasion,” said Mendez.  “With this production anyone can enjoy the sweetest sounds produced by Puerto Rico nights.”

The CD features more than an hour of continuous background natural sounds and listeners will enjoy (5) different species of Coquí frogs singing on a rainy night.  Listeners will hear the sound of wind, rain, soft and distant thunder and lightening, and many other insects and species that also sing at night in Puerto Rico.  All this sounds were recorded professionally in Toa Alta, Puerto Rico fields with high fidelity audio quality.

Editor´s note: We are awaiting our very own copy of this CD and will be reporting on its prowess. We can only imagine that after one night of listening to this CD, ticket prices to the "Isla, Borinquen" will soar. Looking forward to interviewing Producer Freddie Mendez, and after having spoken to him briefly, perhaps the interview will be over some Cutty con Coco en Borinquen.

Till next time,
